The 3rd Annual Plum Hill 5K Run/Walk
for Leukemia and Lymphoma has been another successful event.

We appreciate everyone whe participated in the Run-Walk. Luckily the rain held off until our event was over.

Our Story

Vera "Beep" Klister had a dream to offer people her best breads and other homemade goods. She opened "Beep's Back Door Oven" and began selling bakery at local farmer markets. In the summer of 2004, Beep and her husband, Dave, purchased the historic property at 313 Dodge Street in Kaukauna to pursue her dream of having a hometown bakery and café.

Beep passed away in January of 2008 of leukemia. The Plum Hill 5K Run/Walk is held in her memory to help in the fight against blood cancers.
